Network Marketing Is A Scam

Many people believe that network marketing is a scam. Most of the people who believe this to be true have either tried and failed or simply believe it to be true from other people. Don’t get me wrong there are plenty of scams out there. There are many people in the world who are too lazy to make money other ways and find it enjoyable to scam others. However that is not the case with network marketing.

Let’s start with what network marketing isn’t. It is not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal because they are scams that are making money from other people losing money. They usually don’t sell actual products or services, its only money changing hands. Sometimes they do have a product to try to disguise what they are doing.

What network marketing is however a serious business. If you are unsure about a company, check to see how long the company has been in business. If they have been around for at least five years then chances are they will be for many more. If the company was a scam they would never make it to their five year anniversary. However, all legitimate companies were new at some point, so don’t discount a company just because they are new.

Typically when someone fails in the network marketing business it is NOT because it was a scam. Many people believe that they can sign up and just start making money with either no or very little effort. In order to be successful in network marketing, it takes work. Like starting any other business, without putting in a lot of time and effort you will fail, plain and simple.

Network marketing companies are selling real products or services. The most successful network marketers do make a lot of money. As with any business, each person will make a different amount of money depending on the work they put into it.

You are not taking advantage of people. You are selling legitimate products or services that your customers need or want at a fair price. A big part of network marketing involves recruiting new people to join the company. You are not ripping them off you are helping them to own their own business. This is the foundation of the business.

This is not a get rich quick scheme. It is a business. Some people are very successful and do make money quickly. Their success comes from hard work and dedication, not luck. If you aren’t serious about networking, then you would be wasting your time and money because you will not succeed.

The basis of network marketing is taking a proven system and then duplicating the system for yourself. You do make money from others efforts when you bring them into the company and train them to do the very thing you are doing. You also help the people you sponsor to sponsor others and the cycle continues.

Just to recap, network marketing is not a scam. It is a legitimate business that has as much potential as you create for it. You do not need any special skills, minimum sales quotas to meet, or education. Since you do the business from home there is minimal cost to you. With a network marketing business you can travel and enjoy life. Just don’t forget that you have to put in the effort to reap the rewards.
